The Cadnam is our standard “Closeboard Site gate”, made from 75mm x 50mm rebated sawn timber framework, with mortice & tenon joints. The braces are made from 75mm x 30mm sawn timber. The gate is clad with ex 100mm x 22mm Feather edge boards using stainless steel nails. This gate does not have a capping.
The Cadnam is made with the top and bottom rails, set 75mm in from either end, and is hung as a universal. There is no need to specify the hand, they can be hung either way.
The standard size (usually in stock) of the Cadnam is 1750mm High x 900mm wide. This is a one size only gate and not available in other dimensions. The gate is pressure treated green after construction.
