Concrete Repair Spurs

Concrete spur posts are used to support a timber post which has either broken or rotted off. The spur is set into concrete alongside the timber post and either bolted through or coach screwed to the post. The spur replaces the butt of the timber post and provides the new support.

This is a more economical and simpler method of stabilising an old fence rather than taking down part of the fence and replacing the post with a new post.

Sometimes in extremely exposed sites or ground conditions which are very wet, it may be wise to erect the fence in the first place with concrete spurs.

For a 75mm square Timber post, we recommend a 75mm x 75mm Repair Spur, and for a 100mm or larger Timber post, we recommend a 100mm x 100mm Repair Spur.
