As a company, we take pride in building relationships with all of our customers, so that we can make sure that your product truly is fit for purpose. So whether the fabrications you require are for your home or other residential property, or they’re for a larger scale commercial site, our manufacturing and quality assurance process is just as high.
Here’s how we make sure that your products look great, and last a lifetime…
The Brief
No stage in our process is more important than the initial consultation. Dan, our Surveyor will visit your site and discuss your requirements in detail. Taking measurements and helping you to make the right choice for your needs.
Design
Next, we’ll start putting your designs to paper. If you’re after a bespoke fabrication, it helps if you’re able to share some of your inspiration with us so that we can start to make sketches and CAD drawings of some options for you.
For bespoke, your quote will always include 2 rounds of design amends before final approval of your design.
Craft
This is where we bring your design to life. Once you’re happy with your quote and design, we get to work manufacturing and crafting the steelworks.
Galvanise
Once your fabrication has been created, we galvanise all of our steel to give it anti-corrosion protection.
Powder coating
Powder coating is an advanced method of applying a decorative and protective finish to our fabrications. This makes the metal more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading and wearing than other finishes. You can choose practically any colour and colours will stay bright and vibrant for longer.
Installation
The best bit! We’re now ready to install your fabrications – whether they are to complete your home, or to add additional security to your site. We’ll test and quality check at every stage of our process to ensure a high quality, long lasting product.
Jack and Dan Wateridge, Directors of NFF are always happy to help.
