In the early 90’s the investment of the treatment plant for “pressure treating” softwood timber to the current British Standards, was well worthwhile, as all customers expect their timber to last and most builders and architects specify it as the standard.
Once again the family’s vision paid off, the ability to treat timber on our own site has kept transport costs to a minimum and speeded up considerably the production process. We can cut a timber order in the morning and it can be pressure treated the same afternoon, which keeps customers happy.
We also pressure treat large volumes of wood for timber merchants who bring in their own clean timber which we treat for them with a very quick turn around. In short, New Forest Fencing can take in a raw log from the forest and convert it into a properly treated and preserved piece of timber to almost any size or specification.
