The Copythorne is our standard waney gate, to match our waney fence panels and made from 75mm x 50mm rebated sawn timber framework, mortice & tenon jointed. The braces are made from 75mm x 30mm sawn timber. The gate is clad horizontally with approximately 6mm thick waney boards which vary in width due to the natural wane of the tree from which they are cut. T boards are fixed using stainless steel nails & the gate is finished with a 75mm x 30mm twice weathered Capping.
The Copythorne can be made in either left, right hand hung or universal, so please specify. Standard gates are 1800mm high (including capping) x 900mm wide and made universal for hanging either way.
The gate is pressure treated green which is included in the price. Water based treatment can be requested at no extra cost, in golden to match our waney fence panels or dark brown.
