The Bartley is our standard “Closeboard Gate”, made from 75mm x 50mm rebated sawn timber framework, mortice & tenon jointed. The braces are made from 75mm x 30mm sawn timber. The gate is clad with ex 100mm x 22mm Feather edge boards using stainless steel nails, and is finished with a 75mm x 30mm twice weathered Capping.
The Bartley can be made in either left, right hand hung or universal. Standard stock gates are made universal for hanging either way.
The standard size (usually in stock) of the Bartley is 1800mm High (including capping) x 900mm wide. The gate is pressure treated natural green after construction which is included in the price.
We can make this gate with an infill of trellis or palisade at the top, set into the rebated frame. For the Palisade or Trellis infill add 15% to the price.
